The soundtrack of Kabali was released when everyone wasn’t paying attention. Ingenuity is unexplainable so that statement makes total sense in hindsight. ![]() If I recall correctly, there was a Behindwoods session on Jigarthanda and someone asked him “eppidi saar, ippidi music compose panninga?” and his reply was something along the lines of “theriyala…adhuva vandhuchu” in the most innocent tone ever. How this music composer manages to come out with songs left, right and centre that defy Tamil music norms is beyond me. The title must’ve surely given that away? No? In three words, it’s because of Kabali, Maya Nadhi and Santhosh Narayanan. So why are you here now, you might wonder. I’m really not that good at this whole writing thing, am I? Well, that’s not surprising given that I’ve never been good at articulating my thoughts into words, be it written or spoken.
